BACON & CHEDDAR SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

1 Lb. regular sliced Bacon
1 Lb. mild Cheddar Cheese
1 Lb. frozen Green Peas
1/4 head Iceberg lettuce
2/3 Cup Kraft Mayo

DIRECTIONS:

Dice and fry Bacon until crisp, drain. Shred your Cheddar Cheese. Cook peas for 3 to 4 minutes, drain and let cool. Tear lettuce into small bits. Mix all ingredients until well blended. You may need a little more mayo, use your judgement. The salad should be quite moist. Chill and enjoy. Goes well with any kind of meat or is great by itself.



BACON & VEGGIE SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

1 Cup Broccoli
I Cup Cauliflower
1/2 Cup Cheese (shredded)
1 lb. Bacon
1 Cup Miracle Whip
4 OZ Red wine vinegar
1/4 Cup Sugar

DIRECTIONS:

Chop all your veggies up.

Fry your bacon and chop it up fine.

Combine your veggies, bacon and cheese in bowl.

In another bowl mix all your wet ingredients together and blend in to your veggie mix.

Let sit at least an hour in refrigerator.



COLD CORN SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

2 Cans whole kernel Corn (drained)
1 Small Cucumber (finely chopped)
1 Small Onion (finely chopped)
Mayonaise

DIRECTIONS:

Mix corn, cucumber & onions together. Add mayonaise (one tablespoon at a time) til mixed together with out being soupy.

Refrigerate a couple of hours til cold and serve.

Nice for a summer meal!!



POTATO SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

6 Potatoes
1/4 Cup Green Onions (chopped)
2 Eggs (hard boiled)
8 Strips Bacon
1/4 Cup Celery (diced)
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Miracle Whip
1 Tbsp Mustard
Pepper ( to your taste)

DIRECTIONS:

Boil potatoes with peeling. When potatoes are done let them cool for about 30 minutes. When cooled remove the skins and dice potatoes.

While potatoes are cooking, place bacon in fry pan and cook til crisp, these will be crumbled as bacon bits.

Mix your potatoes and other ingredients (except bacon) in to a large bowl. After every thing has been combined then add your bacon bits. Add pepper to your taste. Make sure to taste test to see if it may need anything extra.


TUNA SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

2 Lg or 4 Small cans of Tuna
1/4 Cup Onion (diced)
1/4 Cup Celery (diced)
1/4 Cup Sweet or Dill Pickles (diced)
1 Hard Boiled Egg (chopped)
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Tbsp Miracle Whip
1 Tsp Mustard
Pepper (use to your taste)

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all your ingredients together. Do the taste test to see if it needs a little extra of something...lol

Refrigerate.
